Winter 2023-2024 Ministry Update
Dear Mission Friends,
We are so excited to end the year with victory in Jesus Christ! While 2023 had its challenges, we have experienced God’s mighty hand in many ways! Thank you to all our family, friends, and church partners that supported our ministry in every capacity! With your prayers, donations, and encouragement, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do in Haiti. Our prayer is for one day that many of you can see what God is doing here in La Victoire, Haiti.

Christmas 2023 Was a Success!
At the end of this year, we were able to raise $5,000 to support families in our community with a food gift basket. Families were able to share a meal with relatives this Christmas season. The most amazing part was that our very own church, Storehouse Haiti, was able to contribute to the support. We made about $100, with many of the members of our church donating chickens, beans, curtains, and money they had. But with many of our church members living on less than $2 a day, what an encouragement it is to see them wanting to support each other. They are an example of Mark 12:31, to love our neighbors.
Many of you were able to send Barbies for the beautiful little girls around our community. This was probably our favorite project this year. Thank you for the overwhelming response for buying a Barbie for these girls. Many girls were blessed with a NEW doll, something their parents probably would never be able to afford. The girls describe how the Barbies looked just like them. So many girls came up to us so excited about their Barbie. While driving by the school many little girls get water with their Barbie and others are playing with them on the porch in their home. We will do this again next year.
The idea came from Abbey and Hannah, who would bring ALL their Barbies to the school to play with their friends. One of the girls asked if we could buy her one when we went to the States, told her we would. We brought her one, another little girl asked us if we could buy her one. Apparently, word got out that Madame Paul was giving out Barbies. We went on Facebook and asked all our friends if they were willing to help us out, and so many of you were able to support this, Barbie Project! THANK YOU!
Community Development Programs
Programs to support families in need
The school had a beautiful Christmas party to end the semester. The leadership team alongside the teachers put together a beautiful concert, followed by games, food, and prizes. The children and young people had a great time. We had the farmers and goat breeders from each community come and celebrate the end of the year with us. Despite the heavy rain fall more than 300 rural farmers/goat breeders came to celebrate the end of the year with us. We heard testimony after testimony about how God’s provision was seen in many ways. Women testify that they were able to send their children to school, buy them uniforms, shoes, and school supplies just because they were able to sell one of their goats. We had dinner with them and continued to fellowship.
SAI Leadership Team Encouraged
Finally, we had a conference with all our ministry leaders and community leaders of La Victoire and its surrounding areas. We encouraged them to stay faithful to the Lord during these difficult times in Haiti. They shared how God has been faithful to them throughout their journey with us. Many shared their struggles but testified that God is good! Continue to pray for our leaders. With your continuous prayer and support we have been able to train our leaders to lead in a way that honors God.
What's Happening at SAI Heading Into 2024?
As we enter the New Year, these are some of the projects we're working on. Our goal has been and remains to glorify Christ in all that we do. We truly want people in our community to know Christ, as He is our only true hope.

We continue to work on the new church plant in Lospinite who has been funded by our brothers and sisters in Batavia, Illinois. We cannot wait to see the different ways God will use this new ministry compound for His glory.

We also continue to work on the cafeteria construction project which is a big need for our compound to be complete.
