Summer 2025: An Update From Evens & Karina Paul

Dear SAI Supporters and ECC Ministry Partners,
A great number of you are aware of the difficult events that are happening in Haiti this year, and especially at this moment. We understand you pray for us diligently, and our family is so thankful for all who join hands with us to continue our ministry journey with the people of La Victoire, Haiti. We thank God for you, and we pray for you as well. Thank you so much for walking alongside us as we continue our service to the people of La Victoire despite all the different challenges that we face while we minister to the people of La Victoire, Haiti. We truly need your help and support as we continue to serve the people of Haiti during this hard time.

As you might know, a great number of missionaries who dedicate their lives and service to the people of Haiti have left the country to return to their home countries due to the political gang violence, which continues to devastate the whole country. Last month the gangs were able to take another big city in the central state of Haiti where many families had to flee for their lives, Many of these families relocated in the city of Hinche, others relocated in Pignon, and we have also encounter some families who returned to La Victoire. These families have run for their lives and left the homes they built for their families. They've also left ministries where they were serving as pastors, medical doctors, nurses, engineers, and general professionals, just like any family who would find themselves in an unfamiliar circumstance. Words cannot describe the pain and the suffering that these family members experience due to the gang violence in Haiti, but despite this chaos, these families are attending two of our local churches and we are witnessing their joy in worshiping the Lord. Despite losing everything, they're joyful, which is a great testimony to me personally.

We Press On With Education, Medical Treatment, and Nutritional Support

The fear of serving the Haitian people in this season is great, but my heart and desire continue to be greater in doing whatever we can to be light in this dark time. As I have just returned from a trip to Haiti, my wife expresses our blessings to God and to Him alone, and we want to continue to serve God with our heart, mind and soul.
We continue to invest in the lives of the children through education and are providing good health care to the community. We want to continue to give our best to God as we continue our service to God in Haiti.
But we really need your help to do this. Would you please give a special gift to our ministry so that we can keep the children in school, keep our Medical Center open where we provide dental care and general health service to the population at the very low cost? Your support helps keep both the Lospinite church campus and Vieud-Avidtroy campus going as we continue to invest in the different communities through the Community Development program where we equip and empower rural farmers through Goats production, cows and sustainable agricultural activities. We continue to believe that God is still working in Haiti and He is doing amazing things.

New Child Sponsorship with Compassion International

We have recently partnered with Compassion International to provide child sponsorship opportunities. These children are part of SAI's schools. Your support of these children helps meet their basic physical needs, spiritual support, and education. Use this link to see the 200+ SAI children available for sponsorship. Or, search on Compassion's site for opportunities in Haiti using the "Child Center Name/ID" code HA0416.

Pray for us as we Pray for you

Our prayer in this season is for God to continue to open our ears to hear His voice speaking to us and to open our hearts to clearly see ways He is moving our family as we continue to serve the Haitian people. And to see different places where He is working and for us to be able to listen and to join Him in what He is doing in Haiti particularly in La Victoire, Haiti. Despite so many missionary families that have left Haiti, including some friends of ours from MAF who are leaving Haiti this week for two years, we continue to be convinced this is where God has called us to serve and our family is committed still to our Haitian Brothers and sisters in Christ. Haiti needs you, please join us in prayers and in helping our ministry continue to serve the wonderful families of La Victoire, Haiti.
With Love, Evens & Karina Paul
